Education License Requirements

The Legislature has mandated that real estate licensees who wish to maintain an active license need to complete 18 hours of continuing education (6 hours of "R" subject matter and 6 hours of approved continuing education) AND 6 hours of broker-approved training or continuing education every two years. Broker training courses have a broader subject matter of criteria for approval than traditional CE courses and allow the broker to choose areas of emphasis in training and education.
