Capture the Global Market with CIPS
25% OFF CIPS Courses and Bundles

Last month, the National Association of REALTORS® released the 2015 version of its annual Profile of International Home Buying Activity. Overall, respondents reported a 7% increase in their international business in the last year. Five specific countries accounted for a majority of purchases—Canada, China, Mexico, India, and the UK—with China leading the pack at $28.6 billion in property purchases during the last year, out of a total of $104 billion.

Although foreigners purchased properties nationwide, four states account for 50% of the sales: Florida, California, Texas, and Arizona. Foreign clients are an upscale group of buyers, paying on average nearly $500,000 for a house, compared to the US average of $256,000, and the majority of purchases by foreign clients are cash transactions.

The National Association of REALTORS® offers the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Designation which offers education, resources, and benefits related to global real estate; the CIPS serves as the premier credential to exhibit expertise in this area. REALTOR® University offers a number of courses and bundles that can be applied towards the requirements for obtaining the CIPS, or simply for expanding one’s own knowledge and education related to international opportunities. This entire month of August, save 25% on all CIPS courses and bundles, and save anywhere from $36 to $183 on your purchase.

This offer is valid from August 1st through August 31st.
