The new “NAR Code of Ethics Video Series.”  The Code of Ethics is your pathway to professionalism. Make sure you understand what separates you, as a REALTOR®, from other real estate professionals, and get your office talking about and living by the Code.  There are fifteen short video segments covering the Preamble, Articles, and Standards of Practice. Included are support material and questions to stimulate discussion. Each segment is five to seven minutes long, available 24/7, and free of charge.

The first course on sale this month is Home Sweet (Second) Home: Vacation, Investment, Luxury Properties, which is the main coursework component for obtaining the RSPS Certification. RSPS is recognized as an official NAR certification, and allows buyers and sellers to have confidence in the abilities of a REALTOR® who specializes in buying, selling, or managing properties and second homes for investment, development, retirement, or recreation purposes. This 6–hour course instructs on how to adapt your core real estate skills in order to build a resort and second–home business.

The second course on sale this month is the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) Designation Course. The Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) Designation is for REALTORS® who want to be able to meet the special needs of maturing Americans (age 50+) when selling, buying, relocating, or refinancing residential or investment properties. The 12–hour SRES® Designation Online Course instructs real estate professionals on how to understand the cultural, legal, and financial concerns of older individuals—to best serve this generational group of buyers and sellers.

The National Association of REALTORS® and its affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils provide a wide-range of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, proficiency, and knowledge. Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.
