GRI 104:  Contract to Close provides an overview of the mortgage process in today’s environment, with automated underwriting, the prevalence of both Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) and Automated Valuation Models (AVMs).  This class goes through the timeline from beginning to end, and focuses on what licensees need to know to make the process go smoothly, and to assist their buyers.  You will learn how to calculate qualifying
ratios and debt-to-income for mortgages, describe and calculate PITI and PMI, identify type of loans that best fit the borrower and property

Nebraska REALTORS® offers online GRI courses in a secure, convenient, at-your-own-pace online format.


How to get started on the GRI designation in Nebraska:

You must complete all of the 6 GRI courses online or in the classroom. Classes may be completed in any order. Each course covers 15 hours of material, and a test is administered at the end of each class. Students must receive a 70% on the exam to receive credit toward their GRI designation. Students may retake the exam if necessary. You have 5 years from the date of your first class to complete the GRI designation.
